Assystem are looking to recruit an engineer or assistant project manager to provide technical, co-ordination and support to the Equipment Reliability team within Asset Management.

Principal Accountability Equipment Reliability team is responsible for the delivery of maintenance strategies for future operations based on industrial best practice – INPO AP913 equipment reliability process. Typical activities of the team includes:
• Lifecycle work schedule development
• Equipment reliability process, procedure and guidance development
• AP913 component classification
• Component-based Preventive Maintenance Templates development
• Condition monitoring strategy development
• Governance, oversight, and support of equipment reliability activities

Specifically, as the support engineer or assistant project manager you will be required to carry out the following tasks:
• Support to the team in managing/coordinating the delivery of various ER documentation, such as Maintenance Templates, component classification, and system maintenance strategies
• Support to the team in developing/reviewing Preventive Maintenance Templates.
• Support to the team in developing/reviewing Component Classification documents.
• Support to the team in developing/reviewing System Maintenance Strategies.
• Support to the team generally in the organisation and follow up of key meetings
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience Knowledge, Skills,

You will need to be able to delve into the technical details of systems and components of nuclear power plant, industrial experience and applicable mandatory regulations in order to deliver optimised maintenance strategies for an operating generation plant.

You will have to be resourceful and use initiative to propose solutions and ideas.

• Degree in engineering or science discipline is essential.
• Experience and knowledge of system engineering or maintenance in nuclear generation plants is essential.
• Knowledge and experience of AP913 process is essential
• Knowledge and experience of light water pressurised reactors is desirable
• Experience of project management is desirable
• French or Chinese speaking is desirable

Assystem require a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a focus on Piping to support a critical decommissioning project within the Nuclear Industry

Role

Delivering mechanical piping designs including the process services piping design packages. These include (but are not limited to) HP steam & condensate, process water, compressed air for process plant, active drains, bulk & bottle specialist gas systems and process feeds to glove boxes.
• Supporting a team of piping engineers & designers
• Liaise with all other engineering disciplines, in particular process engineers and the PDMS manager
• Providing support in design reviews & HAZOPs with regard to process services piping
• Check & approve drawings & calculations, technical reports, specifications, assessments and other miscellaneous documents supporting the piping design process.
• In-depth experience of influencing piping design practice and outcomes.
• Experience working within a highly regulated industry, ideally significant experience within the Nuclear Industry
• Detailed design experience.
• Fully conversant with UK Statutory Regulations and industry design guides and standards relating to this discipline. It would also be an advantage to be familiar with the relevant Nuclear Design Standards.
• It is essential to be familiar with delivering projects using PDMS.
• Additional experience utilising Autodesk, Navisworks Freedom Viewer, Navisworks Manage, MS Office suite of programmes including Visio

Mechanical Designer – Inventor

Assystem is currently recruiting for 2x Mechanical Designer to join us on a contract basis. The roles would be based within Assystem’s Oil & Gas division and will be working towards delivering Design services within a framework agreement.

These position are required ASAP; we will ideally be looking for candidates to start on the 29th of April following a successful interview process. Whilst the initial contracts are 6-months in duration, we expect the positions to run for the lifetime of the framework agreement.
Requirements:
• In-depth Inventor Experience is Essential
• Experience of mechanical 3D modelling using Inventor
• Experience with FEED of offshore installation equipment
• Experience of applying GD&T
• Experience of Vault is essential
• Experience of material analysis/selection for use within hazardous environments, specifically subsea.
• Experienced user of DNV (specifically E2.7-3, ST-N001) and Eurocode (EN 1993-1-8 & EN1993-1-9) design codes
• Experienced in Design for Manufacture (DfM) of structural hardware for use in a subsea environment
• Capable of optimising design and fabrication of equipment to either reduce cost, weight or both
• A proven ability of structural design development (specifically of offshore/subsea structures) from concept through to detailed design, including design for manufacture

Qualifications and Affiliations:
HND in an applicable engineer/design discipline preferred or HNC with experience

Dans un second temps, le but du stage sera de dérouler tout le processus FMD d’un projet en partant des analyses FMD produits réalisées au niveau des cartes électroniques pour arriver aux analyses FMD du système complet. Pour cela, vous réaliserez les études suivantes sur des projets concrets :
*        Etudes FMD au niveau produit :
- Mise en place de la méthodologie qui sera utilisé tout au long du projet ;
- Réalisation d’analyses (AMDEC, calculs de durée de vie, calculs de fiabilité et maintenabilité).

*        Etudes FMD au niveau système :
- Mise en place de la méthodologie qui sera utilisé tout au long du projet ;
- Réalisation d’analyses FMD pour répondre aux exigences projet en tenant compte des études produit comme documents d’entrée.

Sous la supervision d’un collaborateur de l’équipe RAMS, vous serez intégrés dans les équipes afin de vous permettre d’appréhender au mieux les métiers de la sureté de fonctionnement dans le cadre de nos affaires mais aussi avoir une réelle perception du métier de consultant.

Véritable garant de la bonne réalisation contractuelle, vous coordonnez et encadrez une structure hiérarchique construite autour de 6 chefs d’équipe, de mécaniciens et de techniciens de suivi. L’équipe complète comprend environ 250 personnes, qui est structurée pour opérer en 3×8, 7j/ 7, 362 jours par an.

Afin d’assurer la performance qualité – coût – délai du projet, vous menez ce contrat en respectant les exigences client.

Pour cela, vous êtes en charge de :

- La gestion de la relation opérationnelle avec les équipes de notre client
- Le pilotage de la performance économique en adéquation avec les objectifs budgétaires
- La maîtrise des indicateurs qualité et délai, ainsi que le pilotage des plans d’actions correctifs pour satisfaire les attendus du client
