Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Process Manufacturing Engineer to be based in Derby on a contract basis with a focus on Chemical and Heat Treatment processes and commissioning.
Job title: Process Manufacturing Engineer
Hourly rate: Competitive
Hours: 37 hours minimum (Flexible start and finish times)
This role will be aligned with ME activities around commissioning of a new facility. You will be expected to take a leading role in supporting commissioning trial work, engaging with stakeholders across ME, Design and Facilities teams.
This will involve analysis of data, interacting with trial work on the shop floor, report writing.
Essential Qualifications/Experience required:
Professional qualified engineer ideally within a Chemical discipline
You must have experience with chemical Processing facilities and have successfully completed commissioning projects of these facilities
Possessing general understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the business.
Possessing general awareness of Manufacturing Systems (CAD, CAM, CAPP, Manufacturing Execution System, Manufacturing Intelligence, SAP, Technical Publications, etc.) relevant to the business.
Familiar with standard engineering technical package creation and control (Technical instructions, PFMEAs, Control plans)
Having good understanding of Manufacturing Engineering processes relevant to their role in the product lifecycle.
Have excellence communications skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
